TOM PARKER is a Swiss Recruiting Agency for sourcing and recruiting leading personnel and professionals in Supply Chain, Engineering and Industrial fields.
We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager (m/w/d) in the region of Zürich in Switzerland, for one of our global clients in the Renewable Energy industry.
Responsibilities:

Achieve sales and growth targets within the assigned markets and accounts, including pipeline development, management, and forecasting.

Lead cross functional teams/capture teams to present a competitive, differentiated solution and bids to customers.

Define bid pricing, positioning, and channel strategies.

Lead technical and commercial discussion, negotiations and deal closing.
-
Proactively position systems, solutions and new technology through customer seminars and workshops using the Presales resources.

Maintain excellent relationship with key players in the allocated market – End Customers, EPCs, Front End and Geographic Sales etc.

Gather market information to ensure updated market knowledge for planning and implementing appropriate market strategies

Support development of business strategies and sales and growth plans for the Offshore Wind business
Profile:
-
Electrical /Electronics Engineering background with at least 10 years sales experience in the Utility Sector, Offshore Wind projects experience will be an advantage

Strong know-how in the field of Substation Automation, Control and Protection

Conversant with commercial aspects of contracts in export business

Proven sales record in the systems business in power grid automation will be an advantage

Know-how of telecommunications Systems

Result-oriented, customer focused with strong interpersonal skills

Self-driven with strong initiative, team player with ability to manage external and internal stakeholders
